Words from the Tri Harder Race Director

Greetings Everyone,

The words below were sent to the team at Tri Harder but while composing and once sent, I realized all of our athletes should see them.

Please take a look, you were part of the success.  Thnx
Before the year slips away I wanted to extend a sincere thanks for all the support you provided in 2015 for the events.

Without you we could not host what we do at the level of quality we provide.

We were one of the few tri groups that saw level or increased participation when most others saw declines.

We held our own without raising prices or lowering quality.

We had only minor injuries and over 1,900 participants went home safe at days end.

We had no serious complaints at any event, yes minor ones were lodged but they will always happen.

We hosted the James’, – a Guinness World Record Holder for 50/50/50 and the un-official youngest male to complete a Half Iron.

We set new participation records for the Route 66 Half Iron, Moonlight Marathon and Abe’s Trail Trek.

We have been recognized by Trail Runner magazine for Abe’s Trail Trek.

We donated thousands of dollars to local teams, groups, causes, rescue squads and fire departments.

We had one of ours become an IRONMAN in florida and another complete her first of many IRONMAN 70.3’s ( both Anne and Ginger are shy so I didn’t use their names 😉

We got lucky and went to the IRONMAN World Championship in Austria

We sucked at IRONMAN World Championship in Austria but finished with 4 minuted on the clock and became a World Champion nonetheless

Overall we did great and I appreciate all your efforts, hard work and diligence in a very chaotic and stressful setting.

I wish you all a Happy New Year and hope to see you in 2016 to do what we do best, host endurance events that are known nation wide.

Heck we can argue we are known world wide now. We just wont mention the last in the age group to finish fact ( there were 37 old men that didn’t finish in time).

We changed lives.

The many emails I get prove it and we are getting lots of very kind words being said out of the blue. Feels nice.

Love you all, stay healthy and keep on, keepin’ on
