Weather Forecast & Saturday Triathlons

Hello Triathletes,

We have good news about the upcoming April 21st Abe’s Mini & Pioneer Triathlons at PORTA High School.

Not only are both great events and season openers, the weather forecast is looking quite nice and conducive to your PR.

Current forecasts call for temperatures in the  high 50’s – low 60’s and single digit winds with SUN.

Perfect conditions to Tri this Saturday.

However, don’t play the weather waiting game any longer cause you might not get a shirt if you order after 11:00pm Thursday night when on line registration closes.

We ordered extras but they will go quick with this favorable weather and triathletes itching to start the season.

While on line Registration closes Thursday night you can still sign up at packet pickup on Friday at the Springfield Running Center from 4-6:30pm and from 9am to 11am on Race Day at the high school but it costs more and no shirt is guaranteed.

Registration details and links are at

See you Saturday and please help with our MS Global Fund Raiser by donating on line when you register, donate any amount over $10 on site and get a pair of aero, technical socks or dropping a few dollars in the MS Global collection jar.

Any donation into the MS Global collection jar is appreciated and if all of our 3,000 annual endurance athletes would give a mere $2 we could meet and surpass our goal and help those afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis achieve a higher quality of life and beat this awful disease.

Thank You.
